| The first wall I chose to replace was an interior load bearing wall. It was a tricky rebuild because the roof needed to be supported from the basement. The pictures will show the plate had to be replaced first. Second, the header for the joists was put in. Third, the joists and finally the stud wall. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| Cores in the block wall foundation were cast with bolts to hold down a new plate. The photo below shows severe bug damage on the original plate. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
